A gold medalist in pharmacy and holding a Global Doctorate in Business Administration, Dr. Kalpana’s expertise spans across research & development, production, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Her deep understanding of disinfection chemistries and regulatory policies has been instrumental in propelling Sirmaxo to the forefront of the infection control industry.
Under her stewardship as Executive Director, Sirmaxo has achieved the prestigious PICS (Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme) certification, in addition to maintaining stringent WHO GMP, ISO, CE, and DSIR accreditations. These certifications underscore Sirmaxo’s commitment to adhering to the highest global standards in manufacturing and quality assurance.
Dr. Kalpana’s leadership in new product development and innovation has been pivotal in introducing advanced molecular chemistries and performance-driven solutions. Backed by a degree in pharmacy combined with business management credentials from the esteemed SP Jain Institute of Management, his core strength lies in his ability to feel the pulse of the customers and the corresponding market needs—a combination that has led to Sirmaxo being one of India’s largest disinfectant companies. This strong business acumen, combined with razor-sharp decision-making, has led to the development of products that few can boast of, providing advanced molecular chemistries and performance.
Under his leadership, Sirmaxo has not only expanded its global footprint but has also been recognized for its innovative approach in the disinfectant and antiseptic manufacturing industry. In 2024, Sirmaxo Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. was honored with the “Most Recommended & Innovative Disinfectant & Antiseptic Manufacturing Company of the Year” award, reflecting the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation.

In 1978, when Mr. Suresh Bhatwadekar embarked on his visionary journey to revolutionize India’s healthcare landscape, he found a steadfast partner in his wife, Mrs. Hema Bhatwadekar. In 1978, Mr. Suresh Bhatwadekar, a visionary entrepreneur, embraced two mantras “Public health is National wealth,” & “Prevention is better than Cure”.

At a time when the term “disinfectant” was scarcely mentioned in everyday conversations, he took it upon himself to revolutionize the Indian healthcare landscape. His pioneering spirit led to the introduction of QUAT-based disinfectants, a leap forward from the existing solutions that often compromised both health safety and effective disinfection.

Navigating numerous challenges, Mr. Bhatwadekar’s unwavering commitment and foresight culminated in the establishment of Sirmaxo Chemicals Pvt Ltd.
